These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Steel Funnel website and your receipt of communications from us. Steel Funnel is a trading name of DLC Capital Pty Ltd, Unit 5/39 Cliff Street, Fremantle WA 6160, Australia. By using our website, submitting a form, or opting in to receive messages from us, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Steel Funnel builds websites, advertising campaigns and lead follow-up systems for tradespeople and home service businesses across Australia. You can contact us at admin@steelfunnel.com.au.
2. SMS / text message programme terms
2.1 Programme description
Steel Funnel operates two text message programmes. You may consent to either or both by ticking the relevant checkbox on our contact or enquiry forms, or by providing your mobile number and express consent verbally or in writing.
- Steel Funnel Customer Care (non-marketing) — appointment reminders and confirmations, replies to customer service enquiries, account and order updates, and follow-ups regarding enquiries you have submitted to us.
- Steel Funnel Promotions (marketing) — special offers, discounts, new service announcements and other promotional messages.
These are separate programmes with separate consent. Consenting to one does not enrol you in the other.
2.2 Consent
You will only receive text messages from us if you have expressly opted in. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Steel Funnel. You must be the account holder of, or authorised to use, the mobile number you provide, and you must be at least 18 years old.
2.3 Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Customer care and appointment messages are sent as needed in response to your bookings, enquiries and account activity. Promotional messages are sent no more than approximately 4 messages per month.
2.4 Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Steel Funnel does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges will apply according to your plan. Please check with your carrier if you are unsure of your rates.
2.5 How to opt out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a single message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages from that programme. You may also opt out by emailing admin@steelfunnel.com.au or by telling us during any call. If you opt out and later wish to rejoin, you will need to opt in again.
2.6 How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at admin@steelfunnel.com.au. A reply of HELP will return our contact details and a reminder of how to opt out.
2.7 Supported carriers and carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your network operator and is outside our control. Steel Funnel does not guarantee that messages will be delivered, delivered on time, or delivered without error, and is not responsible for any loss arising from a message that is delayed, undelivered or misdirected.
2.8 Privacy
Information you provide in connection with our SMS programmes is handled in accordance with ourPrivacy Policy. No mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except subcontractors acting strictly as our service providers to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
3. Use of our website
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to transmit harmful or unlawful material. All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and layout, is owned by or licensed to DLC Capital Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
4. Accuracy of information you provide
You agree that the information you submit through our forms is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it, including any telephone number you supply.
5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our website and any general information on it are provided for information purposes and do not constitute professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steel Funnel excludes all warranties not expressly stated in these terms and limits its liability for any loss arising from your use of this website or our communications to the resupply of the relevant services or the cost of having them resupplied. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated. Continued use of our website or continued participation in our SMS programmes after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
